Car Vehicle Maintenance Log
Last updated: June 8, 2026

Your privacy matters. Car Vehicle Maintenance Log (the "App") is built to be private by design. This policy explains, in plain language, what the App does and does not do with your information.

The short version

We do not collect, sell, share, or transmit your personal data. Everything you enter — your vehicles, service records, fuel logs, expenses, reminders, photos, and PDF receipts — is stored only on your device.

Information we collect

None. The App has no account or sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We have no servers and never see your data. The App works fully offline.

Your data stays on your device

All records you create are saved locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's on-device storage. If you delete the App, that data is removed with it. If you have iCloud device backups enabled, your data may be included in your own Apple backup, which is controlled entirely by you and Apple — not by us.

Subscriptions and payments

The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions that are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never receive or store your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. To restore a purchase or manage or cancel a subscription, use Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions on your device.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device for the maintenance dates and mileages you choose. These notifications are generated on your device and are not sent through us or any third party.

Photos and files

If you attach a receipt photo or PDF, it is stored inside the App on your device. The App only accesses the specific photos or files you choose to attach.

Children's privacy

The App is rated 4+ and does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell or share your information with anyone, for any purpose. There is nothing to share, because we never collect it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
