Privacy Policy — Pill & Med Reminder

This Privacy Policy explains how Pill & Med Reminder ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. Your privacy is the foundation of this app: your medication data never leaves your device. We do not operate servers that store your health information, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal or health data on any server. Everything you enter — medication names, doses, schedules, reminders, supply counts, and your dose/adherence history — is stored only on your device using Apple's on‑device storage. We have no access to it.

Health & medication data: Stays 100% on your device. Never uploaded.
Account: No account or sign‑up is required. We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number.
Analytics & tracking: The App contains no third‑party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and do not track you across apps or websites.

2. Device Permissions

Notifications: Used only to deliver your medication reminders and refill alerts on your device. Scheduling happens locally; no reminder content is sent to us.
Face ID / Touch ID (optional App Lock): If you enable App Lock, Face ID or your device passcode is used solely to unlock the App. This authentication is handled entirely by Apple; we never receive your biometric data.

3. Subscriptions & Purchases

Pill & Med Reminder offers auto‑renewable subscriptions processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details. Purchases are validated on‑device using Apple's StoreKit. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. How Your Data Is Used

Your on‑device data is used only to provide the App's features to you: showing today's doses, sending reminders, calculating adherence streaks and statistics, and tracking refills. Because the data stays on your device, it is not used for any other purpose.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it. You can remove any medication or clear all data at any time within the App, and deleting the App removes all associated data from your device. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children. Because no data is collected by us at all, no personal information from any user is gathered.

7. Medical Disclaimer

Pill & Med Reminder is a reminder and organization tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not contain a drug database or drug‑interaction information. Always follow the directions of your doctor or pharmacist. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something in this App. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
