How do I create a countdown?
Open the app, tap the + button in the top corner, enter a title (like "Bali Trip" or "Mom's Birthday"), pick the date, choose a color theme or your own photo, and tap Save. Your countdown appears instantly with the days remaining.
How do I add a countdown widget to my Home Screen?
- Touch and hold an empty area of your iPhone or iPad Home Screen.
- Tap Edit in the top corner, then Add Widget.
- Search for "Big Days".
- Choose a style (Classic, Minimal, or Up Next) and a size, then tap Add Widget.
- Tap the widget while editing to choose which countdown it shows.
How do recurring events work?
Set an event to repeat weekly, monthly, or yearly when you create or edit it. Birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays automatically roll over to the next occurrence after the date passes — you never have to re-enter them.
How do milestone reminders work?
With notifications enabled, the app reminds you 100, 30, 7, and 1 day before each event, plus a celebration reminder on the day itself. Manage this per event, or turn notifications on/off in iOS Settings › Notifications › Big Days.
What does the subscription include?
Countdown: Big Days Premium unlocks the full app: unlimited countdowns, all widget styles and sizes, custom photo backgrounds, milestone reminders, and recurring events. Plans: $2.99/month, $14.99/year (with a 3-day free trial), or a $29.99 one-time lifetime purchase. Prices may vary by region and are always shown in the app before purchase.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account, then tap Restore Purchases — available on the purchase screen and anytime in Settings › Premium › Restore Purchases inside the app.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings › your Apple Account › Subscriptions, select Countdown: Big Days, and tap Cancel. If you cancel during the 3-day free trial, you won't be charged.
How do I request a refund?
Apple handles all payments and refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, and select the purchase.
Is my data private?
